Information collected and its sources

Why information is used
Information is used to operate the website, answer enquiries, administer transactions handled by us, send purchaser information to Omaze UK Limited for registration in the requested prize draw, keep appropriate business records, investigate payment or eligibility issues, maintain website security and measure advertising performance.
Where UK data protection law applies, the relevant legal bases are:
- Contract: dealing with your requested service or transaction and related enquiries.
- Legitimate interests: maintaining a functional and secure website, responding to general enquiries, preventing misuse and managing business records and disputes. These interests must be balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: records or disclosures required by applicable law.
- Consent: advertising cookies and similar tracking where consent is required by law. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Cookies and advertising measurement
The website uses Google Ads tags to measure advertising activity and conversions. Depending on your choices and the provider’s settings, measurement information can include browser or device identifiers, page visits, ad interactions and transaction event details such as value and currency. Google may process this information in connection with its own services. Read Google’s Privacy Policy.
You can use the available privacy choices and your browser’s cookie controls. Contact our privacy email for help with a request concerning our processing.
Who may receive information?
Registration with Omaze: After you complete a purchase through the checkout journey, the purchaser information associated with that purchase is sent to Omaze UK Limited’s database to register your participation in the official prize draw. This sharing is used to fulfil your request to enter the draw. Omaze UK Limited is responsible for its processing of those details for the draw under its own privacy notice.
Recipients can include website hosting and technical support providers, email service providers, Google for advertising measurement, Stripe and payment service providers for transaction processing, and professional advisers or authorities where needed for business records, a legal obligation or a dispute. A provider may act on our instructions for some activities and independently for others.
Following a link to Omaze or another independent organisation places you under that organisation’s own privacy information for its services. Omaze’s privacy notice is available on its official website.
International processing
Day One Group LLC is based in the United States, so information handled by us may be processed there. Our technology and payment providers also operate internationally and may process information outside the United Kingdom. Their privacy notices explain their international processing and transfer arrangements. To request details about the countries, recipients and transfer safeguards applicable to information handled by Day One Group LLC, contact support@dayonegroup.com.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on the reason the information is held. The criteria include the time needed to resolve your enquiry or transaction, applicable accounting and record-keeping requirements, payment disputes, legal claims and security investigations. Information should not be retained beyond the period needed for the relevant purpose and applicable obligations. You may request information about the retention criteria for a particular record.
Payment and eligibility checks
Checkout and payment-provider checks can result in a transaction being declined, including attempts to purchase from an unauthorised region. If you wish to query a decision, contact support@dayonegroup.com with the relevant transaction reference. The payment provider may also need to investigate its own decision. Do not send full card details by email.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy of information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing. Send your request to support@dayonegroup.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
You can complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to contact us before raising a complaint.
Providing information and age restrictions
Contact and transaction details needed to answer an enquiry or process a requested transaction must be provided for that purpose. Without them, the enquiry or transaction may not be completed. This promotion is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.
